Cultivation’s newest feature – our favorite new album or release from the past month that might have gone unjustly unnoticed.
This month’s ‘under the radar release’ is Iman Omari’s IHY.
The artist covers a wide variety of genres including soul, R & B and Hip Hop in this largely self produced album.
Iman Omari has come further into the public eye recently after Kendrick Lamar used one of his tracks, Omari’s mood, in his recent Grammy performance.
The singer and producer has released 10 projects over the last four years, including his Energy EP – a project both Isaiah Rashad and SZA have sampled – check out Iman Omari’s work here:
Mass Appeal’s rhythm roulette challenge gives an insight into the producers stunning sampling and producing skills.
